GAME 1 — "Late Push Falls Short in Defensive Battle at Berkeley"
Bryant & Stratton (Ohio) opened its New York weekend with a hard-fought 63–58 road loss at Berkeley. The Bobcats controlled the defensive end for most of the night, holding Berkeley to just one made three and under 33% shooting, but offensive struggles in the second and third quarters created too large of a gap to overcome.
Aryn Harris and Destinee White each scored 14 points to lead the Bobcats, with White also adding eight rebounds and three assists. Delesha "FeFe" Jackson anchored the paint with 11 boards, and Precious Williams provided a big spark off the bench with 15 points and eight rebounds.
Trailing by as many as 14, the Bobcats surged late with a 22-point fourth quarter, trimming the deficit to one possession multiple times. Despite the strong finish, Berkeley's timely free throws preserved the home win.
GAME 2 — "Fourth-Quarter Rally Not Enough at Five Towns"
In their Saturday matchup, Bryant & Stratton (Ohio) erupted for 30 fourth-quarter points but came up just short in a 78–74 loss at Five Towns College. The Bobcats' offense came alive late behind sharp shooting and aggressive guard play.
Marisela Santos delivered a breakout performance with 17 points and five made threes. Aryn Harris scored 16 points with four assists, while Ryann Greenfield added 16 points and nine rebounds in one of her most complete efforts of the season. Destinee White continued her steady play with 12 points, six boards, and six steals.
Despite the late surge and pressure defense that created scoring opportunities, Five Towns' interior scoring and rebounding edge proved to be the difference.
