Late Push Falls Short as B&SC Ohio Drops Tight Battle to B&SC Syracuse
Bryant & Stratton College (Ohio) showed toughness and fight all afternoon, nearly erasing an early deficit before falling 75–71 on Sunday at Ursuline College.
After a slow start, the Bobcats responded with energy on both ends in the second half, outscoring their opponent 46–39 after the break. B&SC Ohio controlled the fourth quarter, scoring 25 points and repeatedly cutting the game to one possession down the stretch, but the comeback effort ultimately came up just short.
Destinee White delivered a standout performance, finishing with a game-high 25 points to go along with eight rebounds, three assists, three steals, and two blocks. Aryn Harris added nine points, while Maambiige Traore knocked down two timely three-pointers as part of her nine-point effort.
The Bobcats' defensive pressure was a constant factor, forcing 32 turnovers and creating multiple transition opportunities. Off the bench, Precious Williams and Delesha "FeFe" Jackson provided key defensive energy, combining for seven steals and helping swing momentum in the second half.
Despite shooting adversity, B&SC Ohio stayed connected through effort, defense, and resilience, showing strong composure late and continuing to trend upward.
