Bobcats Close Regular Season with Competitive Battle at Ohio Christian
The Bryant & Stratton College (Ohio) women's basketball team concluded regular season play Wednesday evening with an 85–78 road loss to Ohio Christian University in Circleville, Ohio.
B&SC came out aggressive and efficient, building a 23-16 lead after the first quarter behind strong shooting and disciplined offensive execution. The Bobcats continued to score effectively throughout the night, finishing 50% from the field and 41.7% from three-point range. Despite the early advantage, Ohio Christian used a 24-point second quarter to shift momentum and carried a narrow edge into the second half.
The game remained competitive throughout the final two quarters, but second-chance opportunities and a rebounding margin in favor of the Trailblazers proved decisive down the stretch.
Three Bobcats Score 20+
Senior leader Ryann Greenfield led the way with 20 points, five rebounds, five assists, and a block while playing all 40 minutes.
Destinee White delivered a standout performance with 24 points on 10-of-18 shooting, adding six rebounds and five steals.
Delesha "FeFe" Jackson continued her consistent scoring presence with 21 points on an efficient 9-of-16 from the field.
Marisela Santos added 11 points, including three three-pointers, to round out the offensive effort.
As a team, the Bobcats recorded 46 points in the paint and forced 16 turnovers, converting them into 24 points. However, Ohio Christian held a 44-31 advantage on the glass and capitalized with 22 second-chance points, which ultimately made the difference.
With regular season play now complete, the Bobcats will shift their focus towards potential postseason preparation, looking to carry their offensive rhythm and competitive edge into the next phase.
