Bobcats Grind Out Road Win at Lorain, 67–57
ELYRIA, OH — Bryant & Stratton (Ohio) picked up a tough road victory Wednesday night, defeating Lorain County Community College 67–57. The Bobcats controlled the glass, forced turnovers, and used a strong third quarter to create the separation they needed.
Bryant & Stratton opened the game tied 21–21 after the first quarter, but a defensive surge in the second held Lorain to just eight points. Out of halftime, the Bobcats delivered their best stretch of the night, outscoring the Commodores 24–20 in the third to take command.
Delesha "FeFe" Jackson led the charge with 17 points, 6 rebounds, 5 steals, and 3 assists, consistently making plays on both ends of the floor.
Marisela Santos added 14 points and knocked down two threes, while Ryann Greenfield secured a double-double with 13 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 steals, impacting the game in every category.
Aryn Harris finished with 10 points and 6 boards, and Destinee White chipped in 9 points with steady perimeter defense.
The Bobcats dominated the interior, winning points in the paint 44–30, forcing 34 turnovers, and pulling down 47 total rebounds, including 18 on the offensive glass. Their pressure created 24 points off turnovers, helping them maintain control despite a cold shooting night from deep.
Lorain's Abbey Schmitz posted a game-high 32 points, but Bryant & Stratton's team defensive effort held the rest of the roster to just 25 combined.
The Bobcats will continue to push through the heart of February play.
