Strong Second-Half Push Lifts Bryant & Stratton (Ohio) Past Villa Maria, 66–55
BUFFALO, N.Y. — Bryant & Stratton (Ohio) picked up a hard-fought road win on Sunday afternoon, using a balanced scoring effort and strong defense to defeat Villa Maria, 66–55, on December 21st.
The Bobcats set the tone early, opening the game on a 19–9 first quarter to establish control. Although Villa Maria responded in the second and third quarters, Bryant & Stratton stayed composed and executed down the stretch, closing the game with a 19–18 fourth quarter to seal the victory.
Destinee White led the way with 17 points, knocking down 9-of-10 from the free-throw line while adding three assists and two steals. Aryn Harris provided a strong inside presence, finishing with 16 points on 6-of-12 shooting. Delesha "FeFe" Jackson contributed 12 points, seven rebounds, and three steals, while Marisela Santos anchored the glass with nine rebounds.
Off the bench, Nadeya Bell gave the Bobcats a spark, scoring eight points on an efficient 4-of-5 shooting, and Erin Miller added five rebounds and steady minutes.
Defensively, Bryant & Stratton limited Villa Maria to 25.4% shooting from the field and just 2-of-20 from three-point range, forcing 22 turnovers and holding firm in key moments.
With the win, Bryant & Stratton (Ohio) continues to build momentum heading into the holiday break.
