Bobcats Battle Hard in Road Test at Northwestern Ohio
LIMA, Ohio — The Bryant & Stratton College women's basketball team showed early fight on the road but ultimately fell to the University of Northwestern Ohio, 78–59, on Tuesday evening inside The Garage.
The Bobcats came out strong in the first quarter, shooting 42% from the field and trailing just 23–18 after 10 minutes. However, Northwestern Ohio maintained consistent scoring across all four quarters to remain unbeaten.
Ryann Greenfield led the Bobcats with 13 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 steals, continuing to make her presence felt on both ends of the court. Destinee White added 11 points and 3 assists, while Aryn Harris and Amarie Hightower each chipped in 8 points.
Bryant & Stratton finished with 44 total rebounds — including 17 on the offensive glass — and received solid contributions from the bench, which added 22 points led by Hightower and Courtney Hall, who knocked down both of her three-point attempts for 6 points.
Despite the loss, the Bobcats displayed improved defensive energy, forcing 21 Racer turnovers and scoring 16 points off those opportunities.
Bryant & Stratton will look to bounce back on the road week.
