Bobcats Top Eagles Stretch Winning Streak To 5
The Bobcats traveled to Clark State to take on the Eagles in an OCCAC Matchup in which they won 57-42 to extend their winning streak to 5 games and remain undefeated in conference play. Keara Wilson led the Bobcats with 14 points, Tahjanae Flowers-Coleman had 12 points and 9 rebounds. Chy'Rah Darrickaiya Smith-Isom had 10 points and 8 rebounds.
The Bobcats took control of this game right from the tip as they held a 7 point lead at the end of the first quarter 17-10. They would turn it on to extend that lead to 35-16 behind good shooting by Alesia Marshall who had 7 points in the quarter.
The Bobcats would maintain the lead through the second half behind good team basketball as they finished the game with 14 assists and swarming team defense that held the Clark State shooters to 24% from the field and 10% from behind the three point line. Bobcats go on to win this one 57-42 to move to 4-0 in conference and remain first in the OCCAC. They have another match up with the Eagles, same time same place, this coming Saturday the 20th.
