Bobcats Close Season at Home Against Edison State
Pepper Pike, OH — Bryant & Stratton (Ohio) wrapped up its 2025–26 NJCAA men's basketball season on Sunday morning, falling 92–64 to a talented Edison State squad at the Sister Diana Stano Athletic Center.
Edison State came out firing, using an efficient first half to create early separation. The Chargers shot over 53% from the field and connected on eight threes, building a 50–26 lead at the break. Despite the deficit, the Bobcats showed fight throughout the second half, playing with energy and competing to the final buzzer.
Sophomore Remi Gilmore led B&SC with an all-around performance, scoring 18 points on 6-of-10 shooting while adding 5 rebounds and 2 assists. Aaron Wilson closed his sophomore season with 14 points, 6 assists, and 3 steals off the bench, providing a spark on both ends. Hunter Graham chipped in 12 points and battled inside for 26 high-effort minutes.
The Bobcats found better rhythm offensively after halftime, scoring 38 second-half points while knocking down seven threes overall, but Edison State's size, rebounding, and balanced scoring proved too much to overcome.
Sunday marked the conclusion of the NJCAA season for Bryant & Stratton (Ohio), a year highlighted by growth, lineup adjustments, and the development of multiple underclassmen stepping into larger roles. The program now turns its focus toward spring workouts and offseason improvement as the foundation continues to strengthen moving forward.
