Bobcats Drop Sophomore Day Contest to Clark State
PEPPER PIKE, OH – Bryant & Stratton College (Ohio) dropped 77-59 to Clark State College on Saturday afternoon at the Sister Diana Stano Athletic Center on the campus of Ursuline College. The afternoon also marked Sophomore Day, as B&SC recognized its second-year student-athletes prior to tip-off.
The Bobcats competed early and trailed just 37-34 at the half after a tightly contested first 20 minutes. Clark State gained separation in the second half, outscoring B&SC 40-25 to secure the road win.
B&SC struggled to find rhythm offensively, shooting 31.3% from the field and 13.8% from three-point range. Clark State shot 44.4% from the floor and converted eight three-pointers while also holding a 53-42 advantage on the glass.
Christian Hood led the Bobcats with 13 points, knocking down three shots from beyond the arc. Donovan Barnes added 12 points and four rebounds, while Hunter Graham recorded a double-digit rebounding performance with 12 boards to go along with 10 points. Aaron Wilson added eight points and five steals on the defensive end.
The Bobcats will look to regroup quickly as they travel to Butler County Community College (PA) on Monday, February 16th for a 6:00 PM EST tip-off.
