Bobcats Roll on Senior Night, Power Past B&SC (Albany) 78–61
Bryant & Stratton (Ohio) delivered one of its most complete performances of the season on Senior Night, defeating Bryant & Stratton (Albany) 78–61 at Ursuline College. The Bobcats controlled the game wire-to-wire, jumping out to a 38–27 halftime lead and never allowing Albany to get within striking distance the rest of the way.
Greg Thurman led the charge with a dominant 22-point outing, finishing an efficient 9-for-15 from the field and knocking down a pair of threes. Detric Hearst added 15 points and six rebounds, while Tareeq Roper stuffed the stat sheet with 10 points, nine assists, five rebounds, and three steals. Phillip Byrd was a force on the glass, recording a 10-rebound night as Ohio won the battle on the boards 48–34.
The Bobcats' defensive pressure paved the way for the win — forcing 25 Albany turnovers and converting them into transition scores throughout the night. Ohio also received key support from the bench, with Dondi Harper (6 points, 6 rebounds) and Brian Gillespie (8 points) providing an important spark.
With the win, Bryant & Stratton (Ohio) secures momentum heading into the final stretch of conference play.
