Second-Half Push by Owens Hands Bobcats Home Loss

Bryant & Stratton College (Ohio) battled early, but Owens Community College used a strong second-half surge to pull away as B&SC fell 91–64 on Saturday evening in Pepper Pike.

B&SC had several bright spots despite the final margin. Christian Hood led the way with 14 points, while Zavionn Thurman posted an impressive 11-point, 12-rebound double-double. Blake Brookenthal added 8 points and 11 rebounds, anchoring the interior. Off the bench, Aaron Wilson injected life with 13 points and four assists.

Owens' efficient perimeter shooting and second-half momentum created separation, while B&SC's shooting struggles made it difficult to keep pace despite winning effort on the glass.

B&SC looks to bounce back on Wednesday, January 21st, when they travel to Cuyahoga Community College for a 5:30 PM EST matchup at Metro Gymnasium.
