Barnes Powers the Offense in Road Test at Community Christian
Bryant & Stratton College (Ohio) faced a challenging road environment Thursday night, falling 102–58 to Community Christian College in Center Line, Michigan.
Despite the final margin, Donovan Barnes delivered a strong individual performance for Bryant & Stratton College (Ohio), pouring in a game-high 26 points on 9-of-17 shooting while adding seven rebounds and three assists. Barnes consistently attacked the rim and earned trips to the line, going 8-for-10 at the stripe.
Bryant & Stratton showed early fight, scoring 34 first-half points, but struggled to find rhythm offensively as the game progressed. The Bobcats finished the night shooting 29.9% from the field and 3-of-18 from three-point range, making it difficult to keep pace. Rebounding and turnovers also proved costly, as Community Christian capitalized on second-chance opportunities and transition chances.
Hunter Graham contributed a 10-rebound effort, and Blake Brookenthal added energy on both ends with six points, six rebounds, and a block, while the Bobcats continued to mix lineups and gain experience against a deep opponent.
Bryant & Stratton will look to regroup, clean up execution, and carry lessons from the road trip into their next outings.
