Bobcats Gain Valuable Experience in Exhibition at Ashland

Bryant & Stratton (Ohio) closed out the calendar year with a challenging exhibition test against a veteran Ashland squad, falling 103–51 on Wednesday afternoon.
Ashland set the tone early with pace, physicality, and shot-making, building a 48–19 halftime advantage. Bryant & Stratton responded with improved energy and execution after the break, scoring 32 points in the second half and generating cleaner looks, but Ashland's depth and efficiency proved decisive throughout.
Greg Thurman led Bryant & Stratton with 15 points, attacking off the dribble and competing on both ends. Tareeq Roper added 10 points, while Brian Gillespie contributed 7 points and 5 rebounds off the bench. Sam Whitaker III provided a strong interior presence with 7 rebounds, and the Bobcats continued to gain valuable reps against a high-level NCAA Division II opponent.
The exhibition served as another growth opportunity for Bryant & Stratton, offering important film, physical minutes, and experience against elite competition as the team prepares for its upcoming stretch of games.
