Bobcats Fall at Edison State, 95–60
The Bryant & Stratton (Ohio) NJCAA men's basketball team suffered a road loss on Saturday morning, falling 95–60 to Edison State in Piqua, Ohio.
Edison State jumped out early, using efficient shooting and strong ball movement to build a 49–29 halftime lead. The Chargers continued to control the tempo in the second half, outscoring the Bobcats 46–31 to secure the win.
Donovan Barnes led Bryant & Stratton offensively with 15 points on 7-of-16 shooting while adding six rebounds. Aaron Wilson provided a spark off the bench, finishing with 13 points, including two three-pointers. Hunter Graham recorded a double-digit rebounding effort with 10 boards to go along with seven points.
As a team, the Bobcats shot 36.7% from the field and 20.8% from three-point range, while Edison State connected on 57.6% of its shots and 44.4% from beyond the arc. Edison State also totaled 26 assists on 38 made field goals, highlighting their ball movement and offensive execution.
Bryant & Stratton will look to regroup and refocus as they prepare for their next contest on Thursday, December 18th, when the Bobcats travel to face John Carroll University (Reserve Team) with tipoff scheduled for 6:00 PM EST.
