NJCAA Men’s Basketball Hosts Community Service Event at Cleveland Heights Rec
On November 23, the Bryant & Stratton (Ohio) NJCAA Men's Basketball program spent the afternoon giving back to the community by volunteering at the Cleveland Heights Rec.
Student-athletes and coaches worked hands-on with local youth during a skills-and-fundamentals clinic, helping young players build confidence while learning the basics of dribbling, passing, and shooting. Players also assisted with station setup, demonstrations, and one-on-one instruction—bringing high energy and positive leadership throughout the entire event.
Parents and families in attendance appreciated the engagement, and the Bobcats embraced the opportunity to serve as role models both on and off the court.
"We want our guys to understand the value of community and the impact they can make," said the coaching staff. "Events like this are just as important as what we do on game day."
The Bobcats look forward to continuing their involvement in youth development across Northeast Ohio and remain committed to building strong connections within the community.
