Bryant & Stratton (Ohio) Edges Lorain in Thrilling 84–83 Home Victory
Pepper Pike, OH — November 19, 2025
Bryant & Stratton (Ohio) earned a hard-fought 84–83 victory on Wednesday night, surviving a high-scoring battle and a 31-point outburst from Lorain's Jayveon Roe to secure an NJCAA home win at the Sister Diana Stano Athletic Center.
The Bobcats opened strong with a 39–34 lead at halftime and maintained control for much of the second half, but Lorain surged late behind efficient shooting and second-chance opportunities. Bryant & Stratton stayed composed, knocking down key free throws and getting late defensive stops to seal the one-point win.
Bobcats' Balanced Effort Leads the Way
Bryant & Stratton showcased depth and unselfish play, finishing with five players scoring nine or more points and a season-high 25 assists on 34 made field goals.

Despite shooting just 2-for-19 from three, the Bobcats compensated with aggressive play inside, winning the rebounding battle 42–45 and shooting 87.5% at the free-throw line.
Lorain's Late Push Falls Short
Lorain County CC was powered by an incredible performance from Jayveon Roe, who went 14-for-19 from the field and finished with 31 points, keeping the Commodores within striking distance all night.
Lorain shot an efficient 51.5% from the floor and received supporting contributions from
Ike Rowser (13 points, 7 rebounds) and Aven Kiliean (9 points, 10 assists).
But Bryant & Stratton's defensive pressure and ball movement ultimately proved the difference, helping the Bobcats close out the game in the final minute.
