Bobcats Fall to Ohio Valley Community College 106–63

Bryant & Stratton College (Ohio) NJCAA returned to the court on Wednesday night at Sister Diana Stano Athletic Center, hosting Ohio Valley Community College in a non-conference matchup. Despite strong individual efforts and flashes of energy in transition, the Bobcats were unable to slow down an efficient Ohio Valley offense, ultimately falling 106–63.
Ohio Valley jumped ahead early behind a balanced scoring attack and carried a 47–35 lead into halftime. They maintained momentum in the second half, converting at a 54.3% clip from the field and controlling the glass with a 47–39 rebounding advantage. Ohio Valley was led by a dominant performance inside, with their frontcourt combining for 29, 20, and 18 points respectively, including a 15-rebound effort from their starting forward.
Bobcats Highlights
Donovan Barnes led Bryant & Stratton with 18 points and 10 rebounds, recording a double-double while adding four assists and three steals.
Zavionn Thurman provided a boost off the bench, finishing with 8 points and 6 rebounds, while Jack Smith added 11 points on 5-of-7 shooting, including a three-pointer.
Aaron Wilson battled his way to 9 points, knocking down 7 of 9 attempts at the free-throw line and collecting three rebounds. Remi Gilmore contributed across the board with 8 points, 3 rebounds, 1 block, 1 steal, & 1 assist.
