Bobcats Men’s Basketball Battles in 87–73 Road Loss at Wilberforce

WILBERFORCE, OH — November 1, 2025
Bryant & Stratton College (Ohio) men's basketball put together one of its strongest offensive outings of the young season, but a hot-shooting Wilberforce squad held off the Bobcats 87–73 on Saturday evening inside Gatson F. Lewis Arena.

The Bobcats shot 46.3% from the field and a blistering 52.6% from three, including 10 made triples, while matching Wilberforce in the paint (30–26).

Greg Thurman led the way with 19 points, hitting 3-of-8 from beyond the arc. Detric Hearst followed with 15 points, 5 assists, and 6 rebounds, and Dondi Harper sparked the bench with 12 points on 4-of-6 three-point shooting. Tareeq Roper dished out a game-high 9 assists, and Adeboye Akinode added 7 points and 8 rebounds.

The Bobcats continue non-conference play this week on the road looking to even their record and build momentum heading into mid-November action.
